STARTING PROCEDURE

First wave (15km race fleet Male & Female) can enter the small lagoon any time following race briefing. The race start will be 1pm. Racers will be given a 5-minute warning, a 60-second warning and then the starting signal can go off between 10sec - 0 seconds remaining. YOU MUST BE BEHIND THE START LINE until the signal sounds!

As soon as the first wave starts, the second wave (7.5km race fleet Male and Female) can enter the lagoon. This wave will leave approximately 5 mins after first wave start. You will receive a 60-second warning and then the starting signal can go off between 10sec - 0 seconds remaining. YOU MUST BE BEHIND THE START LINE until the signal sounds!

Challenge racers can then enter the lagoon. The challenge race start will be approximately 5 mins after second wave start. You will receive a 60-second warning and then the starting signal can go off between 10sec - 0 seconds remaining. YOU MUST BE BEHIND THE START LINE until the signal sounds!
