Also known as Black Rock Beach, Newton Bay is located just east of Porthcawl. A long sand and rock beach backed by the very extensive and scientifically interesting Newton Burrows and Merthyr Mawr sand dunes. Newton Bay stretches from Newton Point to the mouth of the River Ogmore. Popular for walking, horse riding, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
