Daymer Bay

The beach is a popular holiday destination for families. The combination of fine level sand, backed by sanddunes, is a firm favourite that attracts many people during the holiday season. The beach has a few rock pools along the northern edge, below just west of the car park. At low tide there is a large expanse of sand. The beach stretches along the edge of the River camel, past Brea Hill in a southerly direction to Rock. Many people choose to walk along sands down to Rock, where they can take the passenger Ferry across the river into Padstow. Daymer Bay Parking At the Northern Edge of the beach,there is a good sized car park. The Daymer Bay Beach Shop and cafe is located at the entrance to the car park. Daymer Bay Beach Shop provides light refreshments as well as the usual beach paraphernalia. The toilets are adjacent to the Shop at the entrance to the car park.
