Forest Way (Groombridge)

Riding Being based on an old rail line it has some instant advantages for family or novice days out. It is pretty much flat and well drained. All away form bust roads so great for young children looking to gain confidence riding off roads pavements etc. Any road crossings are safe, with gates and warnings. In fact the only dangerous bit is the lay-by if you start from Groombridge. Maybe for a family it would be preferable to start/finish at the Forest Row end, although reaching Forest Row as a mid-point for a cafe/pub stop is a welcome break.
