The Kingsbridge Estuary, situated in South Devon, stretches from Kingsbridge to Salcombe and East Portlemouth, eventually flowing into the English Channel. Spanning approximately 8.6 kilometers, the estuary features several side channels and creeks, including those at Frogmore, Southpool, Batson, and Bowcombe. Bowcombe Creek, the northernmost creek in the estuary, is easily accessible from Kingsbridge.
