The Old Hunstanton beach is at the north end just outside of the town and is a quiet rural beach. The wide sandy beach has a row of colourful beach huts just behind the sand dunes.

It's a beautiful sandy beach, till accessible at high tide but be warned, it’s a long walk to the water when the tide is out! Kiters and windsurfers rig to the left (looking out to sea) of the RNLI access track. At high tide there can be some small messy waves but at low tide it can be butter flat.
