Wallasey Beach is located on the Northern Tip of the Wirral peninsula between the River Mersey and River Dee. Next to the town of New Brighton only 15 minutes from Liverpool.

A large shallow gradient beach with flat water and a large lagoon on low tide. Kiting is not advised 2 hours either side of high tide due to chop and waves forming and limited beach on the high spring for launching and landing. The conditions change slightly depending on the tide state with some nice kickers for jumping at the end of the Lagoon on low to mid tide.

The beach is lifeguarded throughout the summer months. Swim flags are put out for 2 hours either side of high tide (so if you are out kiting please avoid this area unless you are 200m out to sea)

Behind the beach is home to Wallasey Beach Club. A non for profit watersports and social club for all watersports and beach users. For a small fee you can becoming a member and have access to showers, changing, bar and cafe, members yard and lounge. They also have events on every week including DJs, Markets, Quiz and game night, Comedy and watersports socials.

Why is it a good place to learn? Wallasey Beach benefits from a large low gradient beach creating perfect knee to waist deep flat water. On low tide there is a large 2km long lagoon.
