Troon Big Air Hosted by Grant at KitesurfScotland Event Date(s) Event Window: May 31st 2025 - June 22nd 2025 Last date for entries: May 30th 2025 Troon South Beach is on the west coast of Scotland approximately 30 miles south of Glasgow on the Firth of Clyde. With a good wind record and an ideal beach set up, this first event north of the border is sure to be popular. Registration is now open. For those with camper vans the event has overnight campervan spaces for just £10 per night and there are toilets on site (no showers or power) You simply just pay on the parking app upon arrival. Everyone who parks up must be respectful; it is monitored by the ARA and police. Event Information With two potential weekends in June the competition will be the Big Air format (if winds are above 20 kts.) and freestyle if below that threshold. The two comp weekends are 31st May – 1st June or 21st – 22nd June, with a traffic light sytem during the week before to call the competition on for registered riders.
