The BKSA have been working in conjunction with Havant Borough Council to bring a community sports event back to Hayling Island we will be celebrating all things Watersports and having our Freestyle National Competition, incorporating foiling freestyle and potentially a joint wingfoil race event with the UKWA. If wind conditions are strong, greater than 25 knots, we will run a big air competition. Below this we will run a freestyle competition. Realistically we will have to choose which to run based on conditions. In theory it may be possible to run both versions across the 2 days but conditions will decide. The centre of the event will be at its usual spot on Hayling Beach. This year the Council are making a concession specifically for this event and are allowing overnight parking at the Chichester Avenue Car Park on Hayling Island. Participants and spectators can access this car park over the weekend along with other beach users Event Information A Full itinerary will released shortly with registration times and proposed event schedule. In order for the Council to be able to enforce and manage the overnight car park at Chichester Avenue, anyone using the car park will need to abide by the parking regulation order and purchase a valid pay and display ticket or pay by Ringo. Payment will be required for both days separately (for this event only this will include an overnight stay). The daily rate charges at Chichester Avenue are as follows: Cars: £11.50 Motorhomes/vehicles with trailers: £17.30 This means a car will be required to pay £23.00 for the weekend and a campervan or vehicle with trailer will be required to pay a total of £34.60.
