At the pinnacle of our racing calendar lie the prestigious British National Championships, the ultimate battleground for national titles across various disciplines and board types. Alongside this, we deliver the fast-paced National Sprint Championships, a showcase of explosive power and tactical prowess over shorter distances. These flagship events draw the best paddlers in the country, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie. Recognizing the global aspirations of our athletes, GBSUP is honoured to host the crucial international team selections for both the International Surfing Association (ISA) and the International Canoe Federation (ICF) World Championships. We provide the platform for our top paddlers to earn the right to represent Team England (for ISA events) and GB (for ICF events) on the world stage. Our commitment extends to fostering a thriving racing environment for paddlers of all levels. From enthusiastic Novices taking their first strokes in a competitive setting to aspiring Juniors honing their skills for future success, and the fiercely competitive paddlers in our seasoned Competitive fleets, our events are structured to provide fair and challenging racing experiences for everyone. We offer various race formats, including distance races testing endurance, technical courses demanding skill and agility, and sprint races requiring raw speed.
